AGUNSA Argentina Launches Training School for Young People Focused on Workplace Safety Through Virtual Reality
As part of its commitment to the development of the communities where it operates, AGUNSA Argentina has launched Generación Puerto (Port Generation), a program aimed at young family members of company employees that seeks to provide tools for their personal and professional growth.
The initiative began in June this year and will run through October 2026, featuring a range of training activities focused on risk prevention, self-care, and the development of key competencies needed to meet the challenges of today's workforce
Through participatory methodologies, reflection sessions, and innovative technologies such as virtual reality, participants have had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in hazard identification, risk awareness, and safe decision-making in operational environments.
The program primarily includes the implementation of the first phase of the training school, occupational risk prevention courses, the analysis of real workplace situations, and the development of skills related to safety and employability.

Additionally, the incorporation of immersive tools allows participants to experience controlled risk scenarios, promoting meaningful learning that can be applied to future work experiences.
This first stage brought together family members of AGUNSA employees, along with specialized professionals responsible for delivering the program and its training activities. The initiative has also received support from an expert organization in occupational risk prevention and safety training.

For AGUNSA, this project represents a tangible opportunity to strengthen its connection with local communities while contributing to the development of future generations of workers.
According to AGUNSA Argentina, “This project reflects our commitment to the sustainable development of the community and the training of future generations. We aim to introduce young people to the culture, values, and safety standards that define our organization, while promoting the learning of trades and the development of skills that can help them build future career opportunities within the port and logistics industry.”
As a result, the initiative has actively contributed to strengthening a culture of prevention, promoting safer work environments, and reinforcing AGUNSA’s value proposition as an employer by creating growth opportunities for people and the communities where the company operates.
