AGUNSA Launches Good Neighbor Plan in Iquique to Strengthen Community Engagement
As part of its sustainability strategy and in alignment with its Sustainable Development Goals, AGUNSA officially launched the Good Neighbor Plan at its Iquique branch. The initiative is designed to strengthen relationships with local communities and key stakeholders in the territories where the company operates.
Led by AGUNSA's Sustainability, Environment and Communities Department, the plan aims to create shared value through a management approach based on mutual respect, open communication, and active community participation.
Through the implementation of its Community Relations Policy, the establishment of ongoing dialogue channels, support for local community initiatives, and the availability of a Community Whistleblowing Channel, AGUNSA promotes responsible practices that contribute to social well-being, environmental stewardship, and the development of long-term relationships built on trust.

Good Neighbor Plan Milestones in Iquique
The launch of the Good Neighbor Plan has been marked by a series of community engagement initiatives that reflect AGUNSA's commitment to the sustainable development of the territories where it operates.
Supporting Technical and Vocational Education
One of the first milestones took place in Pozo Almonte, where AGUNSA conducted a Digital Literacy Workshop for 39 students from the Sergio González High School. This activity marked the official launch of the plan and reinforced the company's shared value strategy by supporting technical and vocational education at one of the municipality's leading educational institutions.
Supporting Local Organizations
As part of its community engagement efforts, AGUNSA provided financial support to the Chanavayita Cove Mooring Workers' Association for the purchase of sports apparel. This contribution seeks to strengthen local organizations that play an important social role within their communities.
Collaboration for Local Development
Looking ahead, AGUNSA will continue its coordination with TECK Quebrada Blanca (QB) through the Social Management Committee, a platform through which contractual commitments are monitored and initiatives are promoted to strengthen local communities, encourage local employment, and support regional suppliers.
In addition, AGUNSA awarded funding through its Social Investment Fund under the Good Neighbor Plan to the project "Warehouse Management Training for Logistics Students," presented by the Sergio González High School of Pozo Almonte in coordination with the local agency. The initiative seeks to enhance students' technical skills and contribute to their future employability.
Through these actions, AGUNSA reaffirms its commitment to sustainable management by fostering collaborative and long-lasting relationships that generate positive impacts and contribute to the development of the communities where it operates.
