In August, the first Stone for the Passenger Terminal at Manta will be placed.

The work, moreover, will become the grand convention centre for the Ecuadorian City.

Soon after obtaining the corresponding authorization, the Terminal Port of Manta, Ecuador, will place the first stone for the Cruise Passenger Terminal on August 2nd.  The work will have an area of 1,316 square metres, and will take fourteen months to build, just in time for the start of the 2018-2019 cruise season.

The investment in the project was greater than US $1.8 million and its construction will occupy an area of 1,316 square metres (m2), plus a parking area and green areas of 5,700 m2.  In this way, Terminal Port of Manta, will have an International Passenger Cruise Terminal, while also functioning as a convention centre for the city.

The new terminal will be the first work in sight within the Port Terminal, and will be situated between the Administrative Port Authority and the Scenic Malecon.  Areas for picking up and leaving passengers in front of the main entrance, information areas, passenger control areas, boarding and disembarking crew, luggage carriers, commercial areas for passengers and crew such as souvenirs, handicrafts, liquors, WIFI internet service, eating areas, access and services for people with disabilities, offices and security cameras, are all part of the added values that the project will be offering.
