AGUNSA takes part in ASONAVE’s 5th Ordinary Board Meeting and celebrates the association’s 33rd anniversary

On Thursday, July 3rd, the 5th Ordinary Board Meeting of ASONAVE was held, with AGUNSA participating as an active member, reaffirming its commitment to the development of Chile’s maritime-port sector.

The meeting took place at ASONAVE’s office in Valparaíso, bringing together representatives from the agencies that make up the Board: AGUNSA, AGENTAL, B&M, IAN TAYLOR, MARLVAL, and SOMARCO, along with special guests. A highlight of the session was the presentation by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT), which addressed the progress and current gaps in the VUMAR platform—a system launched in Chile’s Biobío Region in March 2025 and set to expand gradually to other regions.

Following the meeting, attendees gathered at the Naval Club of Valparaíso for a commemorative lunch celebrating ASONAVE’s 33rd anniversary. Representing AGUNSA at this special occasion was our General Manager, Matías Laso, who joined in the celebration alongside fellow board members.

This event not only provided a space to address key industry topics but also strengthened the bonds among member agencies and reinforced a shared vision for the future of the sector.
