AGUNSA continues to grow in South America, this time with the acquisition of Transgranel.

In April of this year, AGUNSA, through its subsidiary IMUSA, acquired 50% of the shares of the Uruguayan company Transgranel, belonging to the local Christophersen Group. With this transaction AGUNSA becomes the sole owner of Transgranel.
Transgranel is a company that carries out cargo operations in the Port of Montevideo with an annual volume transferred of 700 thousand tons. Its main operations are focused on bulk cargoes, such as wood chips, soybeans, wheat and fertilizers.
With this transaction AGUNSA continues its constant process of development in the port area, expanding its offer of services in Uruguay and adding business to those already on the East Coast of South America, Argentina and Brazil.
It should be mentioned that AGUNSA is a Chilean company created in 1960 as a shipping agent, which was extending its services to ports, airports, logistics and transportation, with coverage in America, Europe and Asia.
