AGUNSA completes complex international transport of Bolivian presidential helicopter to the United States

Between June and July 2025, AGUNSA successfully carried out a high-complexity logistics operation involving the international transport of a presidential helicopter belonging to the nation of Bolivia. The aircraft required specialized repairs to be performed by a company based in Houston, Texas, prompting the request for a coordinated land and sea transfer.

The service began in La Paz, Bolivia, with a land transport operation using a low-bed trailer and escort to the port of Antofagasta, Chile. Upon arrival, the helicopter was stored at the port while awaiting vessel stacking. From there, AGUNSA managed the international maritime transport to the port of Houston, United States.

This operation was executed by AGUNSA’s local transport team in coordination with its oversize cargo division, overcoming geographical and weather-related challenges to ensure a safe and seamless delivery.

For AGUNSA, this service represents a strategically significant milestone, not only due to the importance of the cargo but also because of the trust placed in the company by an international client. The successful execution of this mission reinforces AGUNSA’s position as a leading provider of comprehensive, high-standard logistics solutions in the region.
