AGUNSA Secures Nationwide Contract with Capstone Copper and Strengthens Its Leadership in Mining

AGUNSA has been awarded a nationwide contract with Capstone Copper to provide comprehensive warehousing and general cargo transportation services, strengthening its position as a key logistics operator for the mining industry. The agreement covers the full management of the logistics chain associated with procurement for the company’s two operations in Chile, with activities in Santiago, Copiapó, and Antofagasta, under an integrated model designed to optimize critical flows and ensure operational continuity

Tomás Valenzuela, Commercial Manager of AGUNSA, highlighted the strategic importance of this award:

From the regions, local teams play a key role in the execution of the contract. Erick Contreras, AGUNSA’s Antofagasta Manager, stated:

For her part, Victoria Soto, AGUNSA’s Deputy Manager in Copiapó, added:
“The operation in Atacama will be a key pillar of this contract. Our proximity to Mantoverde and our knowledge of the regional environment allow us to deliver efficient and flexible logistics, especially in receiving materials from local suppliers, while also contributing to the economic development of the Atacama Region.”
